9 April 2020:  Today is Holy Thursday! You will be remembered in my prayers during Mass this evening. We give thanks to God for the gift of the Eucharist/Mass. Please pray for your priests.

Today’s Gospel (John 13:1-15) reads: ‘Jesus knew that the Father had put everything into his hands, and that he had come from God and was returning to God, and he got up from table, removed his outer garment and, taking a towel, wrapped it round his waist; he then poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel he was wearing.’

God comes to wash our heart and soul with his mercy, love and peace. We do not come to Mass because we are perfect but because we know that we need God in our lives. God bless you. Fr Anil
